
Bestiario: costumes painted by hand.
In 1984, while I was still at Art School, I collaborated with Mapa Teatro, a Colombian company that back then was only starting up in Paris. I recently found these two images in Mapa Teatro website. They show the main characters wearing robes that I painted by hand. "Dressed in the wall hangings that have been stripped off the walls"; that was my briefing and these were the results.

La hora del té
Una imagen mágica de la casa de Cenicienta, inspirada en la época victoriana e ilustrando fielmente la arquitectura de la época. Pasó de ser la ilustración central de un Cuento Sin palabras a convertirse en una story cloth y de ahí confeccionamos un mantel. Tamara de @lacasitademara (IG) se enamoró de esta pieza y para compartirla con sus miles de seguidores lo preparó todo para la hora del té a la inglesa, eso sí, con algunos toques mediterráneos: té con leche, pan de plátan
